Will you give me medical advice?
No. I am not qualified to give medical advice, but I CAN support you in carrying out the recommendations of your medical team, partner with you in reaching your own health and vitality goals, provide you with personal growth opportunities, and help you to become an empowered leader of your own health.
Do you need access to my medical records?
Absolutely not. In fact, the contents of your medical or case records are privileged information meaning they are highly protected by privacy laws. I do not need access to your medical information because our relationship is not of a medical nature, but whatever information you choose to share with me will be kept confidential.
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
In general, therapy deals with healing emotional pain, dysfunction and conflict within an individual or in relationships. The focus is often on resolving difficulties arising from the past that hamper an individual's emotional functioning in the present, improving overall psychological functioning, and dealing with the present in more emotionally healthy ways. The coach approach, on the other hand, focuses on what is currently working well and how to build upon those strengths and resources. It is a professional partnership based upon the assumption that the client is functioning in his/her current situation, but seeks support in becoming better in a particular area of his/her life.
What is the minimum I can expect to pay?
Prices depend upon the amount of time spent working together and the extent of the services you request. Base services begin at 160 Euros.
Do you take medical insurance?
Not at this time. I currently accept online payments, money transfers, and cash.
I do not live in your immediate service area. Can we still work together?
Absolutely. I work with clients using a variety of video conferencing software, teleconferencing services, or over the phone.
Under what circumstances could I share a coaching package with a family member?
As a staunch proponent of Family-Centered Health Care, I offer the opportunity for a clients to share their coaching package with their partner, adult child, or other family members who are involved in, or otherwise impacted, by the health care situation. This is an opportunity to empower the entire family to identify their strengths and capabilities, set goals, and be held accountable for their own growth and perceptions of change.
